What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences, keep you signed in, keep items in your cart, and help the site owner understand how the site is used. Similar technologies such as pixels, tags, local storage and software development kits work the same way, and this policy covers all of them.
Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off. They remember what is in your cart, keep your checkout session secure, protect against fraud, and balance traffic across our servers. Our store runs on Shopify, which sets cookies such as _secure_session_id, cart, cart_sig, _shopify_y and _shopify_s for these purposes.
Performance and analytics
These help us understand which pages are visited, how long people stay, and where visitors run into problems, so that we can improve the store. The data is aggregated. This category includes Shopify's built-in analytics and, where enabled, Google Analytics.
Advertising and marketing
These are used to measure the performance of our advertising and to show you relevant ads on other websites. If you arrive here from an ad, a click identifier such as Google's gclid may be stored so that a resulting purchase can be attributed to that ad. This category includes Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing tags, and may include tags from other advertising platforms we use.
Third parties that may set cookies
- Shopify — our ecommerce platform, payments and checkout. See the Shopify cookie policy.
- Google — analytics, advertising measurement and remarketing. See how Google uses cookies.
- Payment providers — for fraud prevention and to process your payment securely.
How to control cookies
Every major browser lets you view, delete and block cookies through its settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break the cart and checkout, so parts of the store will stop working.
- Opt out of Google Analytics across all sites with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Manage Google ad personalization at Google Ad Settings.
- Manage interest-based advertising from many companies at YourAdChoices and NAI.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
If you visit our site with the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal enabled, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for the browser and device you are using. We do not currently respond to other browser Do Not Track signals.
Your privacy choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising. You can exercise those choices on our Your Privacy Choices page. For the full picture of what we collect and why, see our Privacy Policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our site and the tools we use change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
